Exit west

A beautiful story of optimism and the refusal to descend into dystopia. "Exit West" shows us that hope is just through the next doorway.

This is a tough book to review. Did I feel it was written well and that it is such an important perspective that everyone should read it?

There are phrases so beautifully written and experiences so simply and yet profoundly captured that I wish my ability to recall them was better. I kept stopping just to read parts aloud to my husband, so well crafted they stood on their own with no background or explanation.
